Air Serbia's trip from Oslo to Budapest via Belgrade had its ups and downs, and here's my take on it. The trip was generally smooth, but there's definitely room for improvement. The complimentary snacks and water were a nice touch, especially compared to some European legacy airlines that skimp on such amenities. The first flight was on time, the cabin was clean, and the legroom was decent. The inflight magazine was a nice addition, but the real standout was the efficient transfer process at Belgrade airport. Despite its recent expansion, the airport remains compact, and the seamless connection between Schengen countries is a plus.
However, my experience with the crew left something to be desired. While they were friendly, they lacked attentiveness and a service-oriented mindset. I had to wait for a response when trying to purchase from the BoB menu on the OSL-BEG flight, which was a bit frustrating. The strict no-photography policy is also a bit odd, especially given the lack of in-flight entertainment or amenities like WiFi and charging ports. The A319 cabin felt a bit barebones.
The BEG-BUD flight's delay was a letdown, and the crew's lack of explanation or apology didn't help. Minor delays happen, but a little communication goes a long way. It's these small details that can make a significant difference in customer satisfaction. So, while Air Serbia has some positives, there's room for improvement in terms of crew engagement and in-flight amenities.
I'll leave you with a video of the trip, but remember, these are just my thoughts. What are your experiences with Air Serbia? Do you agree with my assessment, or do you have a different perspective?
